On June 21, 2010, the DEP, Office of Leases, will publicly open bids received in response to the following Requests for Proposal:

Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m. at 501 E. State Street, 3rd floor, Small Conference Room.

Cedar Lake Horse Farm in Blairstown Township Seeks Operator
DEP is seeking qualified bidders to operate, maintain, and manage the equine facility at the Cedar Lake Horse Farm in Blairstown Township, Warren County, New Jersey. Potential activities on the Horse Farm include: hay production, pasturing, equine boarding, training, breeding, riding lessons, rehabilitation, riding, trail riding, shows and competitions, clinics, carriage/sleigh rides, and handicapped riding/therapy programs.

There will be a mandatory bidders meeting at the farm on May 11, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. for all prospective bidders, where bid packages will be available. The deadline for submitting proposals is June 4, 2010.
