Take notice that the Department of Banking and Insurance, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 17:22-6.43 and N.J.A.C. 11:1-34, will hold its annual public hearing on the Exportable List. N.J.S.A. 17:22-6.43 provides that the Commissioner of Banking and Insurance may declare eligible for export any class or classes of insurance coverage or risk for which, after a hearing, he determines that there exists no reasonable or adequate market among authorized carriers in New Jersey. The hearing shall address any additions or deletions to the Department's Exportable List. Persons who wish to add or delete items from the current Exportable List should present sufficient evidence that the conditions of procurability have changed. These persons should also demonstrate whether there exists a reasonable or adequate market among authorized insurers.
Additionally, as required by N.J.S.A. 17:22-6.43(c), the Department has prepared a list of those policy forms or contracts that deviate from the standard forms approved in the admitted market and that have been disapproved by the Department or withdrawn by the filer during the past year. The list of disapproved and withdrawn forms is available from the Department at the address below. Interested parties will be provided the opportunity at the Exportable List Hearing to present relevant information for the Department's consideration.
A public hearing on the Exportable List will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. at:
