Soldiers Welcomed Home

Governor-elect Chris Christie, second from right, shakes hands with Spc. Timothy D. Lynch, right, 1-150th Assault Helicopter Battalion, while Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth, left, welcomes a returning Soldiers at the Welcome Home ceremony at the War Memorial in Trenton, N.J., on Jan. 16. Civic leaders to include Governor-elect Christie and his family joined the families of the more than 250 New Jersey Army National Guard Soldiers of the 1-150th at the ceremony, which brings to a close a one-year Operation Iraqi Freedom mobilization. The 1-150th is headquartered in Lawrenceville and the Citizen-Soldiers hail from all of New Jersey's 21 counties. U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Mark Olsen, 177FW/PA.
