A special driver’s license is provided for deaf motorists or those with a hearing impairment of 41-db loss or more. Your license will have the international symbol of the deaf or a numerical code printed on it.

How to obtain a hearing-impaired designation
- Follow the same steps necessary to receive a regular driver’s license.
- In addition, complete a driver’s license application Form BA-208 (found only at motor vehicle agencies) and provide verification of your condition from a physician or audiologist.
