New Jersey Economic Development Authority
|
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) provides the financial, technical and real estate development tools necessary to encourage business growth and stimulate investment in communities throughout the state in accordance with Governor Corzine’s Economic Growth Strategy. EDA activities are designed to broaden New Jersey’s economic base by building vibrant, diverse communities, creating and maintaining jobs and providing businesses and nonprofits with the necessary financial and technical support to grow and succeed. Through the creation of public/private partnerships, EDA bridges financing gaps and increases the business community’s access to capital, particularly small and mid-size businesses and nonprofit organizations. EDA undertakes real estate development projects designed to revitalize communities and support the state’s economic growth. The EDA also supports entrepreneurial development through training and mentoring programs.
