  Application and Testing Schedules

Lists from Pool issued on December 24, 2008 - The actual LEE pool issued on December 24, 2008, at which time the scores became official. Candidate score notices have been mailed and the results are now available for the individual Appointing Authorities (hiring agency or department) for the certification process to begin.

After 12/24/2008, candidate status posted on the web will not be modified/corrected.

Certifications - For passing scores, the eligibility notice will only include the final average and veteran status because the entry level law enforcement testing process places candidates who pass the test in an eligible pool. There is no hiring list or rank until a certification is requested by the Appointing Authority or a hiring agency and the certification is issued by the NJDOP.

Scores Available on Website – To view your score on the LEE, please enter your identification number (in most cases your Social Security Number): LEE Results click here

Passing Scores - If a passing score is achieved, the test score will be represented by five digits, between 70000 and 99999. Although the decimal point is not visible, it is placed after the first two digits (whole score); the digits which follow represent the fraction of the score. (For example, a score of 76543 is 76.543.) The candidate’s score is the percentage score representing their performance on the written LEE test.

Below Minimum Rating – Reflects a non passing score for those candidates who did not achieve the minimum number of correct answers on the test; those candidates names are placed on an Ineligible List. That scoring information is visible only to the affected candidate.

Make ups - Make-up candidates who were tested prior to December 24, 2008 have been added to the pool. Candidates who take a make-up exam after December 24, 2008 will be individually notified of their score by mail.

Exam Review/Appeals -Due to the proprietary nature of the examination, there will be no review/appeal process.

VETERAN'S PREFERENCE:
In order to be awarded Veterans’ Preference, the appropriate documentation must be submitted and approved by the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs no later than December 16, 2008 (8 days prior to the generation of the eligibility list/applicant pool). Candidates who have their veteran status changed after December 24, 2008 will be individually notified of the changes by mail only.

If you have moved, please submit your new address information » Change of Address Form.
